Narrative:
After landing, it was discovered that a piece of engine cowling was missing from the #2 engine. I immediately called the sgf tower to have them inspect the landing runway. The cowling was found on the landing runway. It appeared that when the thrust reversers were deployed, the reverse air flow may have caused the cowling to blow off of the aircraft. I suspect that the cowling may have been improperly installed by maintenance.
