Narrative:
Requested clearance to taxi to active runway 26L in atl. In the process of taxiing, we missed taxiway B. We were focused on the rain, thunderstorm, and checklist. We were tired and unintentionally crossed partially onto the active runway 26R. When I noticed we were past the hold short line, I asked ground if we could use taxiway D to go to runway 26R. I'm not sure if the tower noticed we were past the hold short line. There was no other aircraft taxiing or in the air around the airport. (It was about XA00 am). (Nothing was said.) in the future, I will clarify the taxi route and instructions.

Title: FLT CREW OF MD80, ON TAXI OUT TO RWY 26L AT ATL, CROSS HOLD SHORT LINE OF ACTIVE RWY 26R AT TXWY B WITHOUT CLRNC.
Narrative: REQUESTED CLRNC TO TAXI TO ACTIVE RWY 26L IN ATL. IN THE PROCESS OF TAXIING, WE MISSED TXWY B. WE WERE FOCUSED ON THE RAIN, TSTM, AND CHKLIST. WE WERE TIRED AND UNINTENTIONALLY CROSSED PARTIALLY ONTO THE ACTIVE RWY 26R. WHEN I NOTICED WE WERE PAST THE HOLD SHORT LINE, I ASKED GND IF WE COULD USE TXWY D TO GO TO RWY 26R. I'M NOT SURE IF THE TWR NOTICED WE WERE PAST THE HOLD SHORT LINE. THERE WAS NO OTHER ACFT TAXIING OR IN THE AIR AROUND THE ARPT. (IT WAS ABOUT XA00 AM). (NOTHING WAS SAID.) IN THE FUTURE, I WILL CLARIFY THE TAXI RTE AND INSTRUCTIONS.
