Narrative:

While on an extended base at jan, we were cleared for a visual approach and cleared to land on runway 34L. It was VFR and windy with winds at 300 degrees/14 KTS gusting to 22 KTS. We approached from the east and set up for a right base to runway 34. The first officer was flying the aircraft. There was no other traffic in the pattern, or on the ground, as we approached. We lined up on the nearest runway and came in and landed on runway 34R. It was not until we taxied off the runway that we realized we had been cleared to land on runway 34L. The gusty conditions increased our focus on speed control. This contributed to our lining up on runway 34R instead of runway 34L.

Title: CL65 CREW LANDED ON THE WRONG RWY AT JAN.

Narrative: WHILE ON AN EXTENDED BASE AT JAN, WE WERE CLRED FOR A VISUAL APCH AND CLRED TO LAND ON RWY 34L. IT WAS VFR AND WINDY WITH WINDS AT 300 DEGS/14 KTS GUSTING TO 22 KTS. WE APCHED FROM THE E AND SET UP FOR A R BASE TO RWY 34. THE FO WAS FLYING THE ACFT. THERE WAS NO OTHER TFC IN THE PATTERN, OR ON THE GND, AS WE APCHED. WE LINED UP ON THE NEAREST RWY AND CAME IN AND LANDED ON RWY 34R. IT WAS NOT UNTIL WE TAXIED OFF THE RWY THAT WE REALIZED WE HAD BEEN CLRED TO LAND ON RWY 34L. THE GUSTY CONDITIONS INCREASED OUR FOCUS ON SPD CTL. THIS CONTRIBUTED TO OUR LINING UP ON RWY 34R INSTEAD OF RWY 34L.
