Narrative:
I was departing uca runway 27 in VMC. I called griffis departure from the ground and requested my IFR clearance, as the control tower was closed. On the initial call-up I said I was ready for departure on runway 9, probably because I had just landed on runway 9 20 mins earlier. The departure controller asked me to verify that I was departing runway 9. Expecting to hear runway 27, I did not hear runway 9 and replied 'affirmative.' the controller released me for departure from runway 9 and I departed on runway 27. When I checked in with the controller when airborne, he queried me as to my departure runway. I replied I departed on runway 27. He informed me that I was cleared to depart runway 9, as he had conflicting traffic for a runway 27 departure.

Narrative: I WAS DEPARTING UCA RWY 27 IN VMC. I CALLED GRIFFIS DEP FROM THE GND AND REQUESTED MY IFR CLRNC, AS THE CTL TWR WAS CLOSED. ON THE INITIAL CALL-UP I SAID I WAS READY FOR DEP ON RWY 9, PROBABLY BECAUSE I HAD JUST LANDED ON RWY 9 20 MINS EARLIER. THE DEP CTLR ASKED ME TO VERIFY THAT I WAS DEPARTING RWY 9. EXPECTING TO HEAR RWY 27, I DID NOT HEAR RWY 9 AND REPLIED 'AFFIRMATIVE.' THE CTLR RELEASED ME FOR DEP FROM RWY 9 AND I DEPARTED ON RWY 27. WHEN I CHKED IN WITH THE CTLR WHEN AIRBORNE, HE QUERIED ME AS TO MY DEP RWY. I REPLIED I DEPARTED ON RWY 27. HE INFORMED ME THAT I WAS CLRED TO DEPART RWY 9, AS HE HAD CONFLICTING TFC FOR A RWY 27 DEP.
