Narrative:

I was called for a field trip to ZZZ. Upon arrival, we went to evaluate the damage. I was involved with the work on the nose landing gear. We pulled all applicable paperwork from the maintenance manual, and had all rii requirements confirmed by quality assurance. When the nose landing gear was completed, I was off shift. When I arrived back at the terminal for the ferry flight home, I was informed by the local supervisor that the logbook had been completed, and was cleared for the ferry. Supplemental information from acn 613557: I never signed for my accomplished work as I assumed it was documented in the aircraft logbook and my crew chief would be signing for it as I am not logbook qualified.
