Narrative:
On mar/thu/04 at XA00, we continued the fabrication of temporary repair. Returned at XA00 on mar/fri/04 and completed installation of temporary repair doubler. The completion meter message was sent after we had left the terminal the following morning. We arrived and the logbook had been signed off as airworthy and aircraft had been released. Supplemental information from acn 613561: the aircraft flew on a maintenance ferry flight without the work being signed off.

Title: AN MD80 WAS DISPATCHED IN NON COMPLIANCE WITH AN INTERIM SHEET METAL REPAIR ACCOMPLISHED OFF LINE, BUT NOT SIGNED OFF IN LOGBOOK.
Narrative: ON MAR/THU/04 AT XA00, WE CONTINUED THE FABRICATION OF TEMPORARY REPAIR. RETURNED AT XA00 ON MAR/FRI/04 AND COMPLETED INSTALLATION OF TEMPORARY REPAIR DOUBLER. THE COMPLETION METER MESSAGE WAS SENT AFTER WE HAD LEFT THE TERMINAL THE FOLLOWING MORNING. WE ARRIVED AND THE LOGBOOK HAD BEEN SIGNED OFF AS AIRWORTHY AND ACFT HAD BEEN RELEASED.
