Narrative:
All altimeters were off by 1000 ft due to crew error in setting pressure in kollsman window. Crew was distracted at start up and set 30.59 instead of 29.59. The chain of events that led to this mistake was mainly complacency followed by a complicated SID and numerous tasks. More time should be taken before aircraft movement. Low altitude alert by new york departure.
