Narrative:
I was landing with the flow of traffic on runway 22 at zph. While on base, a glider called entering downwind for runway 18. When I called final, the glider called base. I kept my speed up to give the glider maneuvering room across to runway 18. At slightly below 100 ft, the glider appeared to my right. I entered a 60 degree left bank and applied full power. After the resultant altitude loss, I cleared trees to the northeast of runway 18 by less than 15 ft. I dropped below the tree line in a field, built speed and rose above the power lines, clearing them by about 20 ft. My incident is one of many at zph involving gliders using poorly chosen runways and providing inaccurate radio reports. The right traffic patterns of runway 18 and runway 22 will eventually result in a collision. Gliders do have the right-of-way, but pilots need to know where they are to give it to them.

Title: C152 PLT INITIATES AN EVASIVE, LOW ALT GAR AT 100 FT LNDG ZPH RWY 22 TO AVOID A GLIDER LNDG RWY 18 AND HAS GND CONFLICTS WITH TREES AND PWR LINES.
Narrative: I WAS LNDG WITH THE FLOW OF TFC ON RWY 22 AT ZPH. WHILE ON BASE, A GLIDER CALLED ENTERING DOWNWIND FOR RWY 18. WHEN I CALLED FINAL, THE GLIDER CALLED BASE. I KEPT MY SPD UP TO GIVE THE GLIDER MANEUVERING ROOM ACROSS TO RWY 18. AT SLIGHTLY BELOW 100 FT, THE GLIDER APPEARED TO MY R. I ENTERED A 60 DEG L BANK AND APPLIED FULL PWR. AFTER THE RESULTANT ALT LOSS, I CLRED TREES TO THE NE OF RWY 18 BY LESS THAN 15 FT. I DROPPED BELOW THE TREE LINE IN A FIELD, BUILT SPD AND ROSE ABOVE THE PWR LINES, CLRING THEM BY ABOUT 20 FT. MY INCIDENT IS ONE OF MANY AT ZPH INVOLVING GLIDERS USING POORLY CHOSEN RWYS AND PROVIDING INACCURATE RADIO RPTS. THE R TFC PATTERNS OF RWY 18 AND RWY 22 WILL EVENTUALLY RESULT IN A COLLISION. GLIDERS DO HAVE THE RIGHT-OF-WAY, BUT PLTS NEED TO KNOW WHERE THEY ARE TO GIVE IT TO THEM.
