Narrative:
While accomplishing weekly check items on the aircraft (a B757) on apr/thu/04, I was in the process of checking exterior items and found brake wear indicators on 1 or 2 of the main landing gear brakes to be close to, but within, limits of 1/16 inch or less indication on wear pin. I routinely make sure parking brake is applied after completing outside items on the check. I was servicing hydraulic system and accidentally sprayed or dripped hydraulic fluid in my right eye. I proceeded to go flush eyes and remove damaged contact lens. After about 2 hours, I returned to complete tasks, but may have forgotten to check and make sure the parking brakes were set. I realized this 3-4 days later while working another B757 check. If parking brake was not set as above mentioned, brake might be out of limits per weekly check.
