Narrative:

Departed mth, climbing out trying to get my IFR clearance from ZMA. Center asked that I call back in 5 mins. 3 mins later, the engine quit. I put on the low auxiliary fuel pump. The engine started. I declared an emergency, not knowing if the engine would continue running. I told center I would return to mth. Center cleared the airspace. I returned to mth and landed safely. On rollout, the engine quit. No injuries to passenger or damage to the plane.
