Narrative:
During boarding, I walked past several passenger. As I was in my pilot seat, a gate agent came into the cockpit and said that a passenger smelled alcohol on the pilot that walked by him. That was me. The agent also said that another passenger went along with that first passenger's story and said the same thing. So after that, the captain went up to the gate to find out what was going on. After 30 mins, I went up to the gate to find out what was going on. They told me they are trying to figure out what to do and in telephone conversation with company operations, they decided that I need to take an alcohol test at the nearest location which is off airport and I agreed. Of course the test result was 0.00! My point is, a person cannot be allowed to say things like this and get away with it. You cannot yell fire at a crowded movie theatre and get away with it. This is serious and did result in our flight being 2 hours late plus slanderous comments towards me. The corporate security needs to look into this passenger and take the appropriate actions to prevent this from happening again. Plus, what about the possibility of false positive of the blood alcohol!

Title: BLOOD ALCOHOL TEST ADMINISTERED AFTER 2 PAX ACCUSE THE FO OF SMELLING LIKE ALCOHOL DURING HIS BOARDING OF THE B737-500.
Narrative: DURING BOARDING, I WALKED PAST SEVERAL PAX. AS I WAS IN MY PLT SEAT, A GATE AGENT CAME INTO THE COCKPIT AND SAID THAT A PAX SMELLED ALCOHOL ON THE PLT THAT WALKED BY HIM. THAT WAS ME. THE AGENT ALSO SAID THAT ANOTHER PAX WENT ALONG WITH THAT FIRST PAX'S STORY AND SAID THE SAME THING. SO AFTER THAT, THE CAPT WENT UP TO THE GATE TO FIND OUT WHAT WAS GOING ON. AFTER 30 MINS, I WENT UP TO THE GATE TO FIND OUT WHAT WAS GOING ON. THEY TOLD ME THEY ARE TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT TO DO AND IN TELEPHONE CONVERSATION WITH COMPANY OPS, THEY DECIDED THAT I NEED TO TAKE AN ALCOHOL TEST AT THE NEAREST LOCATION WHICH IS OFF ARPT AND I AGREED. OF COURSE THE TEST RESULT WAS 0.00! MY POINT IS, A PERSON CANNOT BE ALLOWED TO SAY THINGS LIKE THIS AND GET AWAY WITH IT. YOU CANNOT YELL FIRE AT A CROWDED MOVIE THEATRE AND GET AWAY WITH IT. THIS IS SERIOUS AND DID RESULT IN OUR FLT BEING 2 HRS LATE PLUS SLANDEROUS COMMENTS TOWARDS ME. THE CORPORATE SECURITY NEEDS TO LOOK INTO THIS PAX AND TAKE THE APPROPRIATE ACTIONS TO PREVENT THIS FROM HAPPENING AGAIN. PLUS, WHAT ABOUT THE POSSIBILITY OF FALSE POSITIVE OF THE BLOOD ALCOHOL!
