Narrative:

Just reporting this because there was a big altitude change from 10000 ft to 9400 ft. Advised ATC of my response to the RA as required. The copilot did not respond immediately to the 'descent' command, so I took over to clear the traffic. This is just informational. But I was concerned that ATC allowed us to get so close requiring the evasive acton. I don't know what we could have done on our end to prevent the conflict.

Title: CREW FLYING A GLF4 20 MI W OF LAS AT 10000 FT IN CLASS E AIRSPACE HAS A TCASII RA WITH TFC NOT ISSUED BY L30 APCH CTL AND DSNDS.

Narrative: JUST RPTING THIS BECAUSE THERE WAS A BIG ALT CHANGE FROM 10000 FT TO 9400 FT. ADVISED ATC OF MY RESPONSE TO THE RA AS REQUIRED. THE COPLT DID NOT RESPOND IMMEDIATELY TO THE 'DSCNT' COMMAND, SO I TOOK OVER TO CLR THE TFC. THIS IS JUST INFORMATIONAL. BUT I WAS CONCERNED THAT ATC ALLOWED US TO GET SO CLOSE REQUIRING THE EVASIVE ACTON. I DON'T KNOW WHAT WE COULD HAVE DONE ON OUR END TO PREVENT THE CONFLICT.
