Narrative:
Had 2 departures one was nebound off of cvg, the other was off of day, ssebound, opposite direction with each other. Sectors were combined, was very busy and complex. We were trying to split sectors out, but were too busy to split out. Conflict alert activated less than 1 min before error happened. I turned aircraft 25 degrees right when conflict alert went off, but it was too late. When conflict alert went off, it was an error right away. Didn't have a d-side, was 1-PERSON sector with all sectors combined.
