Narrative:
Aircraft encountered windshear at 400 ft MSL on short final. +25 KT speed increase. Aircraft had no warning due to lack of equipment at crp ATCT. We don't have either an LLWS advisory system or tower in the facility. One of these would have given us an alert we could have passed on.

Title: CRP CTLR EXPRESSED FRUSTRATION REGARDING LACK OF ANY TYPE OF FACILITY WINDSHEAR EQUIP.
Narrative: ACFT ENCOUNTERED WINDSHEAR AT 400 FT MSL ON SHORT FINAL. +25 KT SPD INCREASE. ACFT HAD NO WARNING DUE TO LACK OF EQUIP AT CRP ATCT. WE DON'T HAVE EITHER AN LLWS ADVISORY SYS OR TWR IN THE FACILITY. ONE OF THESE WOULD HAVE GIVEN US AN ALERT WE COULD HAVE PASSED ON.
