Narrative:
Exiting ramp at spi for takeoff, right main gear went off taxiway during 90 degree turn onto very narrow taxiway. One taxiway light was damaged. Regained pavement with no damage to aircraft, tires or brakes. This was the only exit available from boxed in parking position. Maintenance inspected aircraft, talked to maintenance control, with verification aircraft was safe for flight.

Title: B777-200 CREW HAD A TXWY EXCURSION AT SPI.
Narrative: EXITING RAMP AT SPI FOR TKOF, R MAIN GEAR WENT OFF TXWY DURING 90 DEG TURN ONTO VERY NARROW TXWY. ONE TXWY LIGHT WAS DAMAGED. REGAINED PAVEMENT WITH NO DAMAGE TO ACFT, TIRES OR BRAKES. THIS WAS THE ONLY EXIT AVAILABLE FROM BOXED IN PARKING POS. MAINT INSPECTED ACFT, TALKED TO MAINT CTL, WITH VERIFICATION ACFT WAS SAFE FOR FLT.
