Flying a 300 round dial aircraft, on arrival to leon, mexico. We encountered a TCASII RA, multiple communications, followed by approach control's clearance into mountainous terrain and an landing without clearance. We should only send ng aircraft into destinations like leon. The environment there requires the highest level of awareness and displays that will give you that awareness.

WE SHOULD ONLY SEND NG ACFT INTO DESTS LIKE LEON. THE ENVIRONMENT THERE REQUIRES THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF AWARENESS AND DISPLAYS THAT WILL GIVE YOU THAT AWARENESS.
