Narrative:
After executing a visual approach to runway 25L to a full stop, we were told to taxi and hold short runway 25R at F6, stay with tower. We waited while 4 aircraft departed and were finally cleared to cross and contact ground when clear. We acknowledged the clearance and proceeded across. While taxiing across the runway we noticed landing lights at the approach end of the runway. An aircraft took off and rotated well before reaching the intersection of F6 and runway 25R. We told tower what we had observed then switched frequencys to ground who then cleared us to the gate.

Title: B737 CREW WAS GIVEN CLRNC TO CROSS A RWY WHEN ANOTHER ACFT WAS TAKING OFF.
Narrative: AFTER EXECUTING A VISUAL APCH TO RWY 25L TO A FULL STOP, WE WERE TOLD TO TAXI AND HOLD SHORT RWY 25R AT F6, STAY WITH TWR. WE WAITED WHILE 4 ACFT DEPARTED AND WERE FINALLY CLRED TO CROSS AND CONTACT GND WHEN CLR. WE ACKNOWLEDGED THE CLRNC AND PROCEEDED ACROSS. WHILE TAXIING ACROSS THE RWY WE NOTICED LNDG LIGHTS AT THE APCH END OF THE RWY. AN ACFT TOOK OFF AND ROTATED WELL BEFORE REACHING THE INTXN OF F6 AND RWY 25R. WE TOLD TWR WHAT WE HAD OBSERVED THEN SWITCHED FREQS TO GND WHO THEN CLRED US TO THE GATE.
