Narrative:
Sensor part number X used in thrust reverser harnesses on RB211. We produce these harnesses in ZZZ shop X per engineering service order X. It only says to check resistance. We were having a problem with the resistance reading and started asking questions. We were working with the ohm meter we were told was correct, but contacted engineer, supervisor, technician crew chief, stopped producing harnesses containing this sensor.
