Narrative:
During takeoff from runway 22 at I69, batavia-clermont county airport, on saturday afternoon, I experienced a power-on stall just after rotation with a loss of directional control causing a drift of the aircraft left of centerline striking a runway light. After getting airborne, I nursed the aircraft around the pattern and made a precautionary low approach so there was visual confirmation that landing gear was intact. I then returned to land. Inspection revealed that light strike had been on aft starboard fuselage. Contributing factors were temperature (80+ degrees), high density altitude (approximately 2400 ft), 8% upslope of runway 22, an intermittent crosswind, under-inflated nose gear tire and aircraft loading of 3 adults and 1 child. Difficulty was encountered on aircraft start-up, although run-up was uneventful, and aircraft was not leaned for takeoff considering high density altitude. Given the unusually warm WX with high density altitude, PIC should have more thoroughly briefed himself on takeoff roll requirements of aircraft in this circumstance. PIC will review aircraft performance requirements for takeoff and lndgs prior to future flts.

Title: WITH TEMPS HIGH AT ARPT, A PA32 PLT HITS A RWY LIGHT ON TKOF DURING A 'PWR ON STALL' CONDITION DURING LIFTOFF FROM RWY AT I69.
Narrative: DURING TKOF FROM RWY 22 AT I69, BATAVIA-CLERMONT COUNTY ARPT, ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON, I EXPERIENCED A PWR-ON STALL JUST AFTER ROTATION WITH A LOSS OF DIRECTIONAL CTL CAUSING A DRIFT OF THE ACFT L OF CTRLINE STRIKING A RWY LIGHT. AFTER GETTING AIRBORNE, I NURSED THE ACFT AROUND THE PATTERN AND MADE A PRECAUTIONARY LOW APCH SO THERE WAS VISUAL CONFIRMATION THAT LNDG GEAR WAS INTACT. I THEN RETURNED TO LAND. INSPECTION REVEALED THAT LIGHT STRIKE HAD BEEN ON AFT STARBOARD FUSELAGE. CONTRIBUTING FACTORS WERE TEMP (80+ DEGS), HIGH DENSITY ALT (APPROX 2400 FT), 8% UPSLOPE OF RWY 22, AN INTERMITTENT XWIND, UNDER-INFLATED NOSE GEAR TIRE AND ACFT LOADING OF 3 ADULTS AND 1 CHILD. DIFFICULTY WAS ENCOUNTERED ON ACFT START-UP, ALTHOUGH RUN-UP WAS UNEVENTFUL, AND ACFT WAS NOT LEANED FOR TKOF CONSIDERING HIGH DENSITY ALT. GIVEN THE UNUSUALLY WARM WX WITH HIGH DENSITY ALT, PIC SHOULD HAVE MORE THOROUGHLY BRIEFED HIMSELF ON TKOF ROLL REQUIREMENTS OF ACFT IN THIS CIRCUMSTANCE. PIC WILL REVIEW ACFT PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS FOR TKOF AND LNDGS PRIOR TO FUTURE FLTS.
