Narrative:
After the captain made the 'prepare for landing' PA, the other flight attendants and myself checked the cabin. I disposed of some trash, washed my hands in the lavatory, and was preparing my exit when turbulence hit. I had just reached for the barrier strap. I do not recall much else besides being tossed around like a rag doll. When the turbulence subsided, I crawled to a passenger seat and strapped in. I told the #4 flight attendant to get me help on landing because I knew I broke something.
