Narrative:

8-10 mins after takeoff, climbing through 15000 ft, #2 engine oil temperature rose to red line (maximum on indicator). Throttle was reduced to idle, aircraft leveled off at 15000 ft and abnormal/emergency procedures manual was reviewed. All other engine instruments in green band (normal). Oil temperature remained excessively high, and engine was shut down per procedures manual. ZAU controller vectored aircraft to ind (our departure field) where uneventful full stop landing was made on runway 23L. Approximately 34000 pounds of fuel was dumped between 15000 ft MSL and 13000 ft MSL and between approximately 35-50 mi west of ind.
