Narrative:
Air carrier X flight abc on aug/sun/04, returned to gate with EICAS message 'engine reverser limited right.' problem was circuit breakers were found out for the #2 engine reverser. Prior to departure, #2 engine reverser was deactivated for maintenance reasons on #2 engine. After maintenance work accomplished #2 engine reverser was reactivated, but the associated circuit breakers were not reset. I signed the work card off for the reactivation of #2 engine reverser. Since this was a turn over from another shift I was unaware these circuit breakers were pulled. Proper work control records were made to cover this item. I was unaware of the fact that these breakers were pulled for this particular job card. I just misread the job card stating the reverser was deactivated per maintenance manual procedures that required these circuit breakers be reset after reactivation of reverser.
