Narrative:
I released a turbojet, which I believed to be a turboprop. A turboprop would be on a diverging heading, a turbojet does not which resulted in the loss of prescribed separation from the other aircraft.

Title: PHX CTLR RELEASED DEP, ERRED IN ACFT TYPE, AND EXPERIENCED OPERROR.
Narrative: I RELEASED A TURBOJET, WHICH I BELIEVED TO BE A TURBOPROP. A TURBOPROP WOULD BE ON A DIVERGING HDG, A TURBOJET DOES NOT WHICH RESULTED IN THE LOSS OF PRESCRIBED SEPARATION FROM THE OTHER ACFT.
