Narrative:
The WX information on the ATIS was old and not accurate. The ceiling was reported as broken and was in fact overcast. I wish the iah ATIS could be more timely during changing WX.

Title: A B737 PLT IS CONCERNED THAT THE ATIS INFO AT IAH IS OLD AND NOT CURRENT.
Narrative: THE WX INFO ON THE ATIS WAS OLD AND NOT ACCURATE. THE CEILING WAS RPTED AS BROKEN AND WAS IN FACT OVCST. I WISH THE IAH ATIS COULD BE MORE TIMELY DURING CHANGING WX.
