Narrative:
I was instructed to replace a defibrillator on ship X. The only documentation for the replacement was an fmr (flight maintenance report) item suspecting tampering. The inbound crew knew nothing of a fault with the defibrillator and they flew the aircraft for 2 flight legs. The defibrillator is an MEL item and was in service for at least 2 flight legs with the belief of tampering.
