Narrative:

After landing at atl, we were cleared to cross runway 26L at taxiway B4 and instructed to call ground. Ground told us to taxi to the ramp. We taxied via E3, left onto taxiway east, right onto F4, and called ramp. But before switching to ramp, we heard ground tell an air carrier Y flight taxiing eastbound on taxiway F to give way to us. Ramp cleared us in via spot X on the right side to the gate. As we crossed taxiway F, the air carrier Y jet to our right did not stop and yield right away, and we passed closer than I would have liked. I had expedited my taxi to hustle along and cause him minimal delay when what I should have done was slow down and ensure he was going to stop in sufficient time and in a position that would allow us to pass well clear. Supplemental information from acn 629044: while taxiing to runway 26L on taxiway F, we had a taxi incident/conflict with an rj taxiing to ramp X. I was responding to the taxi checklist when the rj rapidly crossed into our path from the left. The brakes grabbed as I applied them, causing us to slow suddenly as we stopped short of the rj in front of us. Neither rj, there were two pretty much nose to nose, appeared to slow. After avoiding the conflict, we contacted the flight attendants to ensure that they were ok. They were shaken, but ok to continue. We then asked ATC about the conflict, and were told that the plan was for us to hold short of the rj's, but that the wrong call sign may have been used in issuing the instruction. We do not recall hearing or responding to the instructions. Sits like this is why it's important to be cautious while taxiing at night. The timing was perfect for a collision as I was looking inside the cockpit during the checklist as the rj would've been first seen by me. I did feel as though the other aircraft operators were not as cautious as they should've been.

Title: CL65 AND AN MD88 ALMOST COLLIDE ON TXWYS AT ATL.

Narrative: AFTER LNDG AT ATL, WE WERE CLRED TO CROSS RWY 26L AT TXWY B4 AND INSTRUCTED TO CALL GND. GND TOLD US TO TAXI TO THE RAMP. WE TAXIED VIA E3, L ONTO TXWY E, R ONTO F4, AND CALLED RAMP. BUT BEFORE SWITCHING TO RAMP, WE HEARD GND TELL AN ACR Y FLT TAXIING EBOUND ON TXWY F TO GIVE WAY TO US. RAMP CLRED US IN VIA SPOT X ON THE R SIDE TO THE GATE. AS WE CROSSED TXWY F, THE ACR Y JET TO OUR R DID NOT STOP AND YIELD RIGHT AWAY, AND WE PASSED CLOSER THAN I WOULD HAVE LIKED. I HAD EXPEDITED MY TAXI TO HUSTLE ALONG AND CAUSE HIM MINIMAL DELAY WHEN WHAT I SHOULD HAVE DONE WAS SLOW DOWN AND ENSURE HE WAS GOING TO STOP IN SUFFICIENT TIME AND IN A POS THAT WOULD ALLOW US TO PASS WELL CLR. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 629044: WHILE TAXIING TO RWY 26L ON TXWY F, WE HAD A TAXI INCIDENT/CONFLICT WITH AN RJ TAXIING TO RAMP X. I WAS RESPONDING TO THE TAXI CHKLIST WHEN THE RJ RAPIDLY CROSSED INTO OUR PATH FROM THE L. THE BRAKES GRABBED AS I APPLIED THEM, CAUSING US TO SLOW SUDDENLY AS WE STOPPED SHORT OF THE RJ IN FRONT OF US. NEITHER RJ, THERE WERE TWO PRETTY MUCH NOSE TO NOSE, APPEARED TO SLOW. AFTER AVOIDING THE CONFLICT, WE CONTACTED THE FLT ATTENDANTS TO ENSURE THAT THEY WERE OK. THE TIMING WAS PERFECT FOR A COLLISION AS I WAS LOOKING INSIDE THE COCKPIT DURING THE CHKLIST AS THE RJ WOULD'VE BEEN FIRST SEEN BY ME. I DID FEEL AS THOUGH THE OTHER ACFT OPERATORS WERE NOT AS CAUTIOUS AS THEY SHOULD'VE BEEN.
