Narrative:
Upon landing, right main landing gear strut failed. We reported to ground control. We thought the aircraft had possible tire damage due to blown tire, and someone should look on runway for debris. Nothing was found on runway 4 at ZZZ and upon reaching gate, the crew found right main gear strut had failed. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated the landing was normal and we reported to the tower we may have blown a main gear tire. The reporter said the tower had the runway checked and found no debris. The reporter stated on the gate the right main gear was checked and found the strut seals had failed.
