Narrative:

Departing runway 26 at haines. I made radio calls announcing my intention to taxi, depart and departing. After climbing through 1000 ft MSL, I went to switch to company and realized that I was still on FSS (therefore, making all of my position reports to FSS, not CTAF). I later found out that I took the runway in front of a PA32-500 on short final and caused him to go around. My failure to switch to the correct frequency was the primary cause of this event.
