Narrative:
On approach to atl runway 8L, we were placed too close behind the aircraft in front of us. Tower, in an effort to solve the problem, cleared us to land on runway 8R. Problem was, there was an aircraft holding in position on runway 8R. We did a missed approach.

Narrative: ON APCH TO ATL RWY 8L, WE WERE PLACED TOO CLOSE BEHIND THE ACFT IN FRONT OF US. TWR, IN AN EFFORT TO SOLVE THE PROB, CLRED US TO LAND ON RWY 8R. PROB WAS, THERE WAS AN ACFT HOLDING IN POS ON RWY 8R. WE DID A MISSED APCH.
