Narrative:
Air carrier X aircraft landed amber alert due to leading edge would not extend. I assisted in troubleshooting and found left torque tube just outboard of left leading edge power drive unit was not connected. Checked area for hardware when access panels were removed. None found. Maintenance had replaced #4 slat sep/mon/04. Aircraft went to hangar at ZZZ and returned to service by mechanics. I am filing this report to document problem only.
