Narrative:
I was flying a C206 stationair. I was alone in the aircraft flying VFR. Before entering the taxiway, I called unicom to request current conditions and runway information. Winds were reported as light and variable with runway 7 being used as the active runway. I then called traffic to advise that I was taxiing to the active runway 7. During the course of this exchange I heard a coast guard aircraft reporting in at 10 mi out. The coast guard call was subsequent to my call to unicom for runway and WX information. I taxied to the run-up area for runway 7 and after completing my run-up and checklist, I called traffic that I was taking the active runway 7. I checked for traffic in the pattern and on final, which appeared clear, and then taxied onto runway 7. After I was on my takeoff roll I heard the coast guard aircraft call that they were going around. I never heard any call from the coast guard aircraft of any distance out, downwind, base or final leg reports other than the 10 mi report and that call was not specific as to the type of aircraft or its speed. Given the distance out of the initial report from the coast guard, my visual checks for traffic, the absence of any reporting from any traffic, my continuous reporting of my position and intentions, no call from traffic even after I declared my intention to take the active runway 7, I determined that it was safe for me to depart. I believe the problem was caused by the landing aircraft, not calling in position prior to landing.

Title: C206 PLT AND A COAST GUARD ACFT HAD A CONFLICT AT AN UNCTLED FIELD AT ZZZ, US.
Narrative: I WAS FLYING A C206 STATIONAIR. I WAS ALONE IN THE ACFT FLYING VFR. BEFORE ENTERING THE TXWY, I CALLED UNICOM TO REQUEST CURRENT CONDITIONS AND RWY INFO. WINDS WERE RPTED AS LIGHT AND VARIABLE WITH RWY 7 BEING USED AS THE ACTIVE RWY. I THEN CALLED TFC TO ADVISE THAT I WAS TAXIING TO THE ACTIVE RWY 7. DURING THE COURSE OF THIS EXCHANGE I HEARD A COAST GUARD ACFT RPTING IN AT 10 MI OUT. THE COAST GUARD CALL WAS SUBSEQUENT TO MY CALL TO UNICOM FOR RWY AND WX INFO. I TAXIED TO THE RUN-UP AREA FOR RWY 7 AND AFTER COMPLETING MY RUN-UP AND CHKLIST, I CALLED TFC THAT I WAS TAKING THE ACTIVE RWY 7. I CHKED FOR TFC IN THE PATTERN AND ON FINAL, WHICH APPEARED CLR, AND THEN TAXIED ONTO RWY 7. AFTER I WAS ON MY TKOF ROLL I HEARD THE COAST GUARD ACFT CALL THAT THEY WERE GOING AROUND. I NEVER HEARD ANY CALL FROM THE COAST GUARD ACFT OF ANY DISTANCE OUT, DOWNWIND, BASE OR FINAL LEG RPTS OTHER THAN THE 10 MI RPT AND THAT CALL WAS NOT SPECIFIC AS TO THE TYPE OF ACFT OR ITS SPD. GIVEN THE DISTANCE OUT OF THE INITIAL RPT FROM THE COAST GUARD, MY VISUAL CHKS FOR TFC, THE ABSENCE OF ANY RPTING FROM ANY TFC, MY CONTINUOUS RPTING OF MY POS AND INTENTIONS, NO CALL FROM TFC EVEN AFTER I DECLARED MY INTENTION TO TAKE THE ACTIVE RWY 7, I DETERMINED THAT IT WAS SAFE FOR ME TO DEPART. I BELIEVE THE PROB WAS CAUSED BY THE LNDG ACFT, NOT CALLING IN POS PRIOR TO LNDG.
