Narrative:
During deferral of yellow hydraulic reservoir low level switch on aircraft. Aircraft at gate just prior to departure, using air carrier MEL card 2930JJ, the reservoir level 'indication' connector may have been disconnected by mistake instead of the 'low level switch' connector. After flight departed line maintenance department, notified by me, created log write-up to verify correct connector was disconnected. Air carrier MEL card and manuals were not a factor in possible misident of connector. Main contributing factor was 'hurried' atmosphere of flight operations.

Title: AN A320 WAS DISPATCHED IN NON COMPLIANCE WITH THE YELLOW HYD RESERVOIR LOW LEVEL SWITCH DEFERRED PER THE MEL BUT THE WRONG RESERVOIR CONNECTOR WAS DISCONNECTED.
Narrative: DURING DEFERRAL OF YELLOW HYD RESERVOIR LOW LEVEL SWITCH ON ACFT. ACFT AT GATE JUST PRIOR TO DEP, USING ACR MEL CARD 2930JJ, THE RESERVOIR LEVEL 'INDICATION' CONNECTOR MAY HAVE BEEN DISCONNECTED BY MISTAKE INSTEAD OF THE 'LOW LEVEL SWITCH' CONNECTOR. AFTER FLT DEPARTED LINE MAINT DEPT, NOTIFIED BY ME, CREATED LOG WRITE-UP TO VERIFY CORRECT CONNECTOR WAS DISCONNECTED. ACR MEL CARD AND MANUALS WERE NOT A FACTOR IN POSSIBLE MISIDENT OF CONNECTOR. MAIN CONTRIBUTING FACTOR WAS 'HURRIED' ATMOSPHERE OF FLT OPS.
