Clearance given was: via the palm springs 4 departure, V-386 palmdale, as filed, etc. Confusion arose due to the fact that V-386 appears on the cathedral 8 which calls for a right turn after takeoff as opposed to fly runway heading on the palm springs 4.

Narrative: CLRNC GIVEN WAS: VIA THE PALM SPRINGS 4 DEP, V-386 PALMDALE, AS FILED, ETC. CONFUSION AROSE DUE TO THE FACT THAT V-386 APPEARS ON THE CATHEDRAL 8 WHICH CALLS FOR A R TURN AFTER TKOF AS OPPOSED TO FLY RWY HDG ON THE PALM SPRINGS 4.
