Narrative:
Our aircraft had been signed off for a ferry flight from ZZZ to ZZZ1 due to a pressurization malfunction and was being flown unpressurized but with both air conditioning packs providing normal air flow. During climb, we received a cool caution message and complied with our QRH procedure to address that issue. We then received a display cool caution message and again complied with our QRH procedure. After standby fan was selected, we were to wait 60 seconds and if the message persisted then we were supposed to land at the nearest suitable airport because the displays would likely undergo a thermal shutdown after 30 mins. However, after the standby fan was selected, the display cool message became very intermittent and would sometimes disappear for several mins before reappearing for a few mins or seconds. It was determined that the safest course of action would be to return to ZZZ for an uneventful landing. After landing, maintenance said it sounded like an indication problem.

Title: A CL65 IN CRUISE AT 12000 FT DISPATCHED ON A MAINT FERRY FLT DIVERTED DUE TO INSTRUMENTATION CAUTION MESSAGE 'DISPLAY COOL CAUTION.'
Narrative: OUR ACFT HAD BEEN SIGNED OFF FOR A FERRY FLT FROM ZZZ TO ZZZ1 DUE TO A PRESSURIZATION MALFUNCTION AND WAS BEING FLOWN UNPRESSURIZED BUT WITH BOTH AIR CONDITIONING PACKS PROVIDING NORMAL AIR FLOW. DURING CLB, WE RECEIVED A COOL CAUTION MESSAGE AND COMPLIED WITH OUR QRH PROC TO ADDRESS THAT ISSUE. WE THEN RECEIVED A DISPLAY COOL CAUTION MESSAGE AND AGAIN COMPLIED WITH OUR QRH PROC. AFTER STANDBY FAN WAS SELECTED, WE WERE TO WAIT 60 SECONDS AND IF THE MESSAGE PERSISTED THEN WE WERE SUPPOSED TO LAND AT THE NEAREST SUITABLE ARPT BECAUSE THE DISPLAYS WOULD LIKELY UNDERGO A THERMAL SHUTDOWN AFTER 30 MINS. HOWEVER, AFTER THE STANDBY FAN WAS SELECTED, THE DISPLAY COOL MESSAGE BECAME VERY INTERMITTENT AND WOULD SOMETIMES DISAPPEAR FOR SEVERAL MINS BEFORE REAPPEARING FOR A FEW MINS OR SECONDS. IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE SAFEST COURSE OF ACTION WOULD BE TO RETURN TO ZZZ FOR AN UNEVENTFUL LNDG. AFTER LNDG, MAINT SAID IT SOUNDED LIKE AN INDICATION PROB.
