Narrative:

I am a student pilot who was on a cross country training flight. As I approached the field from the east, I was xferred from approach to tower. I was slightly disoriented regarding my position in the air in relationship to the layout of the runway. I was inbound for runway 36 and was asked if I would accept runway 31 instead. I agreed and proceeded to fly in the pattern was I thought I saw it. I admitted to ATC that I as somewhat disoriented and he told me to fly out on heading of 270 degrees to get back onto base. He was issuing instructions to me using the wrong call sign. Eventually, I asked him if he was referring to me, and he said he was. I was still slightly disoriented at this point and I believed I was or base for runway 31. I proceeded to land and turn off the runway at taxiway D. I contacted tower to ask how to close my VFR flight plan. At this time I was informed I had landed runway 13 instead of runway 31. At this point I was given taxi instruction to taxi via taxiway B and then taxiway a to runway 36. Tower said they had closed my flight plan and stated they would open my next one. I was then cleared for takeoff on runway 36 and went to my next destination. I would also like to add that as I turned off what I thought was runway 31, I stated I was a student pilot and again that I was disoriented when told I had in reality landed on runway 13.

Title: A PA28 STUDENT PLT WAS DISORIENTED AND LANDED ON AN INCORRECT RWY WITHOUT CLRNC.

Narrative: I AM A STUDENT PLT WHO WAS ON A XCOUNTRY TRAINING FLT. AS I APCHED THE FIELD FROM THE E, I WAS XFERRED FROM APCH TO TWR. HE WAS ISSUING INSTRUCTIONS TO ME USING THE WRONG CALL SIGN. EVENTUALLY, I ASKED HIM IF HE WAS REFERRING TO ME, AND HE SAID HE WAS. I WAS STILL SLIGHTLY DISORIENTED AT THIS POINT AND I BELIEVED I WAS OR BASE FOR RWY 31. I PROCEEDED TO LAND AND TURN OFF THE RWY AT TXWY D. I CONTACTED TWR TO ASK HOW TO CLOSE MY VFR FLT PLAN. AT THIS TIME I WAS INFORMED I HAD LANDED RWY 13 INSTEAD OF RWY 31. AT THIS POINT I WAS GIVEN TAXI INSTRUCTION TO TAXI VIA TXWY B AND THEN TXWY A TO RWY 36. TWR SAID THEY HAD CLOSED MY FLT PLAN AND STATED THEY WOULD OPEN MY NEXT ONE. I WAS THEN CLRED FOR TKOF ON RWY 36 AND WENT TO MY NEXT DEST. I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO ADD THAT AS I TURNED OFF WHAT I THOUGHT WAS RWY 31, I STATED I WAS A STUDENT PLT AND AGAIN THAT I WAS DISORIENTED WHEN TOLD I HAD IN REALITY LANDED ON RWY 13.
