Narrative:

During paperwork/preflight portion, I called maintenance to find out when the last time the CSD oil levels had been checked and asked about the daily requirement to check because the aircraft's APU was placarded. I accepted the technician's explanation and took the aircraft. On the climb out of FL290, we received an alert on the right generator cycling on and off followed by CSD oil low level light. We followed the generator light on and CSD low oil procedures, and disconnected the CSD. We tried to find nearest suitable while looking to assist with passenger connections but WX precluded those airports. I elected to return to abq. Landed uneventfully in abq in VFR conditions.
