Narrative:

We were in icing conditions. We had a warning message of 'anti-ice duct.' the aural alert was going off constantly. Bringing back power would alleviate the aural and message. Dtw approach told us to fly 180 KTS and 190 degree heading as the aural alert was going off. I repeated 180 KTS and 190 degree heading and we flew those parameters. A few mins later she informed us that we were supposed to be on a 090 degree heading. She gave us new vectors and all was well.
