Narrative:
During the takeoff roll at approximately 50-60 KTS, 'a/skid outboard' caution message appeared on EICAS. Aborted takeoff. Exited runway 27 at intersection. First officer notified tower then talked to the flight attendant and then made a PA notifying the passenger of what happened and our need for maintenance to check it out.
