Narrative:

Approximately nov/tue/04, I repaired a #2 engine abradable shroud. On dec/fri/04 it returned to the station and the repair I accomplished was missing. Further inspection showed the adhesive had not properly cured and 1 repair had departed the aircraft and another had partially failed. Maintenance manual was followed for the repair.

Title: A B737-400 TECHNICIAN RPTS MAKING AN EPOXY REPAIR TO #2 ENG ABRADABLE FAN SHROUD IN COLD, RAINY WX. EPOXY FAILED TO CURE.

Narrative: APPROX NOV/TUE/04, I REPAIRED A #2 ENG ABRADABLE SHROUD. ON DEC/FRI/04 IT RETURNED TO THE STATION AND THE REPAIR I ACCOMPLISHED WAS MISSING. FURTHER INSPECTION SHOWED THE ADHESIVE HAD NOT PROPERLY CURED AND 1 REPAIR HAD DEPARTED THE ACFT AND ANOTHER HAD PARTIALLY FAILED. MAINT MANUAL WAS FOLLOWED FOR THE REPAIR.
