Narrative:
I am submitting this report only to possibly enhance the depiction of the holding area adjacent to runway 30 at iad. There are numerous blue taxi lines with numerical hold pad markings painted on the ground in the holding area that are not depicted on the airport page chart. Perhaps an inset with some detail of the markings would help with situational awareness on the ground, as this is a vast area of concrete that ATC frequently uses to sequence aircraft for departure, that is not accurately depicted on the chart.

Title: RPTR ADVISES THAT COMMERCIAL AND FAA ARPT PAGES FOR IAD FAIL TO INCLUDE ADEQUATE DESCRIPTION OF TXWY/RAMP MARKINGS IN THE RWY 1L AND RWY 30 RUNUP AREA.
Narrative: I AM SUBMITTING THIS RPT ONLY TO POSSIBLY ENHANCE THE DEPICTION OF THE HOLDING AREA ADJACENT TO RWY 30 AT IAD. THERE ARE NUMEROUS BLUE TAXI LINES WITH NUMERICAL HOLD PAD MARKINGS PAINTED ON THE GND IN THE HOLDING AREA THAT ARE NOT DEPICTED ON THE ARPT PAGE CHART. PERHAPS AN INSET WITH SOME DETAIL OF THE MARKINGS WOULD HELP WITH SITUATIONAL AWARENESS ON THE GND, AS THIS IS A VAST AREA OF CONCRETE THAT ATC FREQUENTLY USES TO SEQUENCE ACFT FOR DEP, THAT IS NOT ACCURATELY DEPICTED ON THE CHART.
