Narrative:
Acting as crew chief, I assigned a mechanic to inbound aircraft. Original aircraft for trip went OTS for hydraulic leak and aircraft X was moved up to cover. I was completing 6TH trip of the shift and did not notice placarded system on aircraft X. Failed to notify mechanic of requirement.
