Narrative:
After takeoff on runway 31L at ZZZ at approximately 50 ft, the cockpit and cabin began filling with smoke. I called 'smoke in cockpit.' we donned oxygen masks, 100% crew communications and I took radios and flight controls. Automation was used (speed mode, heading, autoplt on). I leveled the aircraft at 3000 ft with ATC approval followed by 3 left turns to intercept the runway 31L localizer. The captain completed the smoke removal procedures and all checklists. We landed without incident and taxied back to gate. Passenger were deplaned and flight was cancelled. I believe the deicing prior to takeoff caused some fluid to get into the APU intake and on rotation the fluid was then introduced into the aircraft system. Prevention could have happened by type familiarization with the deice crew on areas sensitive to the rj.

Title: AFTER A DEICING PROC WAS PERFORMED, RETURN LAND IN A NIGHT OP MANDATED BY THE PRESENCE OF SMOKE IN COCKPIT AND CABIN IN A CRJ-200 SHORTLY AFTER TKOF AT ZZZ.
