While packing slide for shipment, I pinned the back and had thought I disconnected the d-ring on part of slide. I am aware of this procedure for packing.

Title: THE MD80 R #1 DOOR SLIDE WAS REPLACED AND WAS IMPROPERLY SHIPPED TO THE SLIDE SHOP IN THE ARMED CONDITION.
Narrative: WHILE PACKING SLIDE FOR SHIPMENT, I PINNED THE BACK AND HAD THOUGHT I DISCONNECTED THE D-RING ON PART OF SLIDE. I AM AWARE OF THIS PROC FOR PACKING.
