Narrative:
On dec/wed/04 at approximately XA00, the sheet metal crew was tasked to repair an aft pit sidewall liner on aircraft X. The sheet metal crew accessed an aircraft specific engineering authority/authorized which was written for aircraft Y, and used this for the repair. I signed the engineering authority/authorized in the supervisor verification area and did not notice the tail number for which aircraft it was for.
