Narrative:
Aircraft arrived with #1 engine C1 blades shingled. Removed front and rear spinner cones and un-shingled blades. Inspected mid spans and blade root area -- no damage found. Re-installed spinner cones per maintenance manual. I was just informed this afternoon of the requirement for a full blade inspection within 50 cycles. I was unaware of this requirement and did not create a deferred item to accomplish this task (my thinking was that the visual inspection accomplished at the time was acceptable).
