Narrative:

This aircraft was 'B/C' check on feb/fri/05. Forward flight attendant seatbelts were worn. After belts were replaced; I checked for installation (wall attach -- cotter keys). I failed to notice that they were backwards. Aircraft remained on ground. Now feb/sat/05 for passenger seat replacement which was completed monday evening. Aircraft remained on ground until XA50 flight to XXX mar/mon/05. After roundtrip; pilot entered in logbook seatbelts installed backwards. After reviewing air traffic area 25; I was unable to find clear installation of this type of seatbelt.
