Narrative:
On card; item calls for checking condition of floorboard under forward lavatory. I na'ed this block because of not removing the lavatory tank and pan to accomplish the mylar removal and polyamide insulation reinstall; which is the driver of engineering order. Engineering was to change the note as to reflect this; but I guess due to confusion with red lines in aft lavatories; he wrote it as: north/a if floor panel not installed. The note should have read: north/a if lavatory tank and pan not removed. I did not catch the mistake until mar/wed/05. I asked supervisor to contact engineer on days to correct it; but he said he did not want to change it. He stated 'just look at the area around the pan and sign it off.' I was notified of this friday afternoon when I reported to work from day shift supervisor; this report goes in conjunction with the report I sent on feb/tue/05.
