Narrative:

There was an amber air data computer #2 on the upper left side of the cockpit and first officer's pfd. Maintenance was called by the captain and he was told that his pfd was getting information from the #2 air data computer and it was up to him on whether to take off or not; we felt comfortable with the situation and decided to take off. Nothing else came of this situation; but this decision I feel was not appropriate for the conditions in which the flight was made. In the future; I will make a better decision on when it is safe to depart.
