Narrative:
I worked on aircraft left cowl anti-ice caution message. I troubleshot per CRM ault information manual and could not duplicate problem. I also referenced engine etn #xx [engine maintenance manual]. The cowl anti-ice system worked normally; and I returned the aircraft to service. This is now under investigation by the FAA file #xyz.
