Narrative:
I had set my radios up while on the ramp. While doing this; my cell phone went off. I answered and got a message; then I turned it off. This I feel may have caused me a little mistake on my set-up of the #2 radio/communication. Called departure for my clearance. I was passing through 1500 ft and said so to them. I was informed I had traffic at 12 O'clock position; 5 mi and was told I had entered class B airspace without a clearance. I turned 20 degrees right to avoid traffic. Controller; I believe; asked me to squawk identify. Talking to the other aircraft to see if they had me in sight. They reported they did. After receiving my clearance and directions to navigation; all was fine. I noticed my #2 radio/communication was turned to 125.50. Had I caught this on the ground; all this would probably not have happened the way it did. In the future; no cell phone will be on inside plane. No more rushing to expedite traffic at uncontrolled airport. A much more thorough check of radio frequency before any departure.

Title: C421 PLT ATTRIBUTES ENTRY INTO CLASS B AIRSPACE TO IMPROPER RADIO SETUP.
Narrative: I HAD SET MY RADIOS UP WHILE ON THE RAMP. WHILE DOING THIS; MY CELL PHONE WENT OFF. I ANSWERED AND GOT A MESSAGE; THEN I TURNED IT OFF. THIS I FEEL MAY HAVE CAUSED ME A LITTLE MISTAKE ON MY SET-UP OF THE #2 RADIO/COM. CALLED DEP FOR MY CLRNC. I WAS PASSING THROUGH 1500 FT AND SAID SO TO THEM. I WAS INFORMED I HAD TFC AT 12 O'CLOCK POS; 5 MI AND WAS TOLD I HAD ENTERED CLASS B AIRSPACE WITHOUT A CLRNC. I TURNED 20 DEGS R TO AVOID TFC. CTLR; I BELIEVE; ASKED ME TO SQUAWK IDENT. TALKING TO THE OTHER ACFT TO SEE IF THEY HAD ME IN SIGHT. THEY RPTED THEY DID. AFTER RECEIVING MY CLRNC AND DIRECTIONS TO NAV; ALL WAS FINE. I NOTICED MY #2 RADIO/COM WAS TURNED TO 125.50. HAD I CAUGHT THIS ON THE GND; ALL THIS WOULD PROBABLY NOT HAVE HAPPENED THE WAY IT DID. IN THE FUTURE; NO CELL PHONE WILL BE ON INSIDE PLANE. NO MORE RUSHING TO EXPEDITE TFC AT UNCTLED ARPT. A MUCH MORE THOROUGH CHK OF RADIO FREQ BEFORE ANY DEP.
